Purpose (our gas coin) & Impact (our main governance coin) are brought into existence and distributed to village members who are making an impact in 3 distinct ways using the village’s impact tooling. The 3 ways are Financial Impact, Digital Impact and Hands-On impact. And all 3 are tracked on chain, we call this asset distribution method ‘Proof of Impact’. And we’ve set up an interface (below) that’s going to allow you to track yours before we launch.

These tokenized points are what track the amount of Impact you’ve had globally with the village, and they’re mined whenever you take action with the village’s impact tooling, in any of the 3 categories: Financial, Digital & Hands-On. *These points aren’t tradable and can’t be bought.

When governance is enabled, we will hold a vote on whether or not to make the entire system gasless to allow those without Purpose Coin the ability to move needed funds right away. Our chain will also be built using Optimism’s OP Stack which will keep overhead way down on our end. It’s a win/win for everyone.
